Advertising Campaign Red or Dead (behind the scene)

AW14 Behind the Scenes shoot with Red or Dead Team .

I had a change to be working with the creative Red or Dead team.

Is always a great experience and challenge when you have to work with clients for first time and is very important to be very creative, professional and to deliver up to their standards.

This photoshoot is for their AW14/15 collection.

The idea and the theme was mix of school drop out, and pretty in punk. We had two lovely beautiful models, Camille Munn and BB, to front the shoot, and sourced some great locations around London to take some snaps…

The shoot started very early morning where we all meet up for makeup and hair preparation.
I had very beautiful models and would like to share some makeup products using on the shoot.
Camila Munn got beautiful dark skin and perfect eyes shape for any makeup looks.
We decide to keep natural definition on the eyes using eyeliner in black by Kryolan makeup.
Define the lips with Mac cosmetics lip liner in Brick
Flow by matte red lipstick pro palette by Mac cosmetic (Dare you )

After few hours makeup and hair done both girls looked beautiful and all dress up with amazing Red or Dead shoes and some accessories we had great locations for our shoot.
It was very stress free till the moment we walked to our first location.
The heavens decided to open up for nearly our whole day of shooting, meaning many of our plans had to change!
But all of us and Red or Dead girls know how to power through, (whilst having a good time obviously!).
We had a great day and great shoot at the end even the rain didn’t stop us of producing the final looks and leaving everyone happy and exited to see the final images.

take a look at our sneak peak snaps of behind the scenes of the day, and see how we did!

Protect your lips with SPF lipstick this summer !!!

Summer time is here and most of the time we forget to look after our lips when we are exposed to sun light. Lips are very delicate place frequent places that you will get burn.
Lip gloss doesn’t count as is very shiny and will stay on the surface attract sunlight that lips will get burn.
The best is to start using lip balm with SPF that will protect your lips.

With my experience I found sometime the less cost brand are the easiest and most effective lip balm that are non sticky, non greasy and will condition and protect your lips with SPF 15.

.Palmers Cocoa Butter lip balm with SPF 15 with Vitamin E

.Carmex Moisturising Vanilla lip balm SPF 15

. Bobbie Brown lip balm SPF 15 non greasy

. Kiehl’s lip balm SPF 15

.Laura Mersier Hydratint SPF 15
With add a hint of colour HydraTint with SPF15 shields your lips from damaging UVA and UVB rays, keeping them soft and supple. Formulated with mint and orange breath-freshening flavour, this luxurious lip balm also adds a hint of colour for perfect, flawless lips.

Applying lip balm with SPF 15 before you apply your favourite lipstick is not only will soft your lips also will protect your lips from sun burning. When your lipstick rubs off then the balm won’t rub off straight away like it would on top because it would be the first thing to rub off.

If you are not lipstick person and you still want to look great and feel great on your holiday I would suggest this beautiful soft creamy lipstick with SPF 15.
You will look great and your lips will be still protected from the sun damage.

– YSL Rouge Volupte SPF 15
Peach Passion and Extreme Coral are my favourite for summer sun kissed look
Very smooth creamy texture that leaves the lips soft with radiant colour with SPF 15

– Clinique High Impact SPF 15.

I love it Pure Posh colour is my favourite
They are high on colour and aparantley will stay for 8 hours. It is highly moisturizing shades that continually smooth, soft and again with SPF 15

– Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick SPF 18

-Kiko Glossy Stylo SPF 15

-Chanel SOIN TENDRES LEVRES Hydra-Treatment Lip Care SPF 15protect agents UV damage

Hope you like my choice !!!

Have a happy summer

Behind the scene -Talking romance back to nature photo shoot of 2013 bridal collection

Talking romance back to nature photo-shoot.

The location was just amazing and after months of waiting for the right weather the forecast finally moved in our favour with sunshine promised for a few days.
We were able all to travel to the forest of Surrey to have our romantic photo-shoot.
Wallis in love bridal collection by designer Sanyukta Shrestha was inspired by Wallis Simpson, Duchess of Windsor.
With a collection inspired by the life and style of Wallis Simpson and Prince Edward, former King of England share the unique love story in the history when Edward give up the throne to be with the woman he love .
This collection was dedicate to Wallis, such independent and free spirited woman, we decide to show the pieces in natural wilderness with hint of 1930.

Makeup and hair also was inspired by glamorous 1930 style and I have decide on the red lipstick to just give a bit more power to the look as well.
We all get to the studio for preparation with hair and makeup as is very difficult sometime to get all done on the location and the weather is very unpredictable as well.
We were all happy with the look that I created and went towards the location that wasn’t very far away.
Here are some of the images from the day.
A special thanks must go for the our wonderful horse model Daisy that I must admit was a perfect and very professional and lovely to be working with, only showing slight impatience at the beginning due to long hours of standing.
She co-operated perfectly with beautiful model Laura and help make the day much easy for all.
Massive thanks to the photographer Ben Lee that capture all the moment and made amazing Images.

Roksanda Ilincic for Triumph’s Woman in Making campaign

What a great pleasure when photographer ask me if i wanted to involve as a makeup and hair artist for Triumph’s Woman in making campaign for Fashion Designer Roksanda Ilincic.

The campaign, titled ‘Supporting Women in Making’, has seen Triumph reach out to a number of women (dubbed ‘makers’) across a variety of creative disciplines in a celebration of true feminine craftsmanship and expertise. The roster of female ambassadors is impressive – sassy, retro pop siren Paloma Faith, celebrity chef Gizzi Erskine, stylist Grace Woodward and designer Roksanda Ilincic
Triumph is taking its supportive role of women quite literally this season. The historic lingerie house has launched a campaign to back female creatives looking to break into business.

Was a very long day shooting in studio and making video in the same time is a challenge for producers ,photographer and art director , but with great talented people every job is much easier.

Here is the final images from the photographic shoot in Stylist Magazine

Followed by video from the day.

Hope you like it.
